- Built annual budgets and cash flow forecasts that owners and leadership used to plan hiring and spending
- Delivered monthly management reports with variance notes to leadership and boards
- Prepared funder, government and grant reports, including restricted funding from award to close-out
- Built financial models (DCF, IRR, NPV) that supported venture capital investment in a growing business
- Secured a US$4.5 million credit facility without collateral to fund growth
- Set up a vendor process that handled 200% growth in suppliers without adding staff
- Cleared reconciliation backlogs and delivered audit-ready books, including a first clean audit opinion
- Kept multi-entity Canada and US filings on track (HST, EHT, T3010, Form 990)

Several years of unreconciled books, an open grant, and an AGM coming
QT, a Toronto arts and culture nonprofit, had no formal accounting system and multi-year records that had never been reconciled, alongside grant reporting obligations.
- Designed and set up the accounting system
